For over 50 years, the Children's Defense Fund has worked against any attack on the nation's children. The mission of the Children's Defense Fund is to ensure every child a Healthy Start, a Head Start, a Fair Start, a Safe Start, and a Moral Start in life and a successful passage to adulthood through the support of caring families and communities. They fight on all these fronts to make sure every child in American has what they need to thrive, and focus especially on poor children, children of color, and those with disabilities to help fix America's systemic inequities.

Your donation will support the Children's Defense Fund's work advocacy work with Congress and the federal government for federal policies to improve children's lives as well as their work at the state level, where six state offices collectively represent almost 40% of all children living in poverty in the US, and their training with young people, faith communities, decision-makers and community organizations to become local advocates for children across the country.
